5/29/2023 0 Comments Goodway group dallasI'll be cheering for you when you crush them. You are capable of more than you can ever envision. Through this incredible journey, I have learned this: You are capable of more than you know. Things don't get easier, you get better.Īnd now we're here. Overtime, I became more and more capable on my long runs. I remember finally achieving my first half distance ever and how sore my feet were immediately after stopping. I remember asking myself, how the heck would I be able to do 26 of these? I kept working at it, training in Central Park every weekend, envisioning what it would be like to finish here. I remember starting out that first week, running 1 mile and being completely out of breath. It was going to be an insane amount of work, sweat, and dedication to be able to run 26.2. I had never run a marathon, let alone a half. I would get to work towards my first marathon ever. I was going to run a race I had been applying to for years: a race I had only have ever cheered at. I remember I waking up to an email and reading it, half delirious: "Congrats! You're running the 2022 TCS NYC Marathon!" I was ecstatic. Honored to be part of this team and excited to knock Q2 out of the park! Rice for dedicating their time and support this week. Thank you to Brian Casey, Jacqueline Harris, Nicole Cummings, Ken Spigelmire, Bradley Rogers, Anthony Mastandino, and Barton J. Huge thank you to Cathy Ratchford, CTP for the constant leadership to continue to grow talent and propel the team to strive for business results. Proud to be able to help continue to drive our People Agenda for our North Transport team.īig shout out to Dan Dyer for curating this incredible and effective agenda. The knowledge, networking, and collaboration gained are invaluable. Rice talk through his career, and had a TON of fun together as a team (Thank you to Chris Chirichiello and Matt Shubert, CTP for the support on Red Sox field access). We invested time to learn key LGBTQ+ concepts and terminology with guests from the Human Rights Campaign in partnership with our EQUAL ERG (and our very own Liz Ziemski, CTP), listened to the exceptional Barton J. This week, we shared our best practices across markets, unveiled our strategy on championing Pep+, and had key speakers from Planning and Safety discuss our partnership and state of their business. And that wraps up another amazing North Quarterly Review.
